We're Sarah and Erik, a husband-and-wife team who have called Lawrence home for more than 25 years. Since purchasing our first rental property in 2005, we've focused on restoring and caring for unique homes on the east side of Lawrence—places with character, history, and lasting appeal.

Unlike large property management companies, we own and personally manage every home ourselves. We believe that being responsive, maintaining our properties well, and treating residents with respect creates a better rental experience for everyone.

Over the years we've renovated several homes, preserving their original charm while making thoughtful updates for modern living. Our goal has never been to own the most properties—it's to own homes we're proud of and provide places where people genuinely enjoy living.

The Art House

Originally built in 1956, The Art House captured our attention because of its creative spirit and unique design. We have carefully preserved many of the artistic details that make the home special while continually updating and maintaining the property. Today it serves as one of our long-term rentals.

The New York House

The New York House holds a special place in our story. Located just a few blocks from vibrant downtown Lawrence, it's where we fell in love with both each other and this neighborhood. We've owned and managed the home since 2005, and because residents tend to stay for years, it rarely becomes available.
